She is a founder member of the European Forum of the Muslim Women which she has chaired since 2006. She is professor in Muslim theology and speaker in French and in Arabic. She has made a commitment in the national and the European associative work and she has tried in her papers and her conferences to deconstruct the prejudices regarding the Muslim women and to value their potential and their contribution in the social reforms. Since 1995, she has militated for the recognition of the rights of Muslim women within the Muslim community and in the society. She was the first president of the French League of the Muslim Woman (1995-2003). She has made an important commitment in the interreligious dialogue and she is a consultant member of the European Women of Faith Network. She is married and she has 5 children.

She has Bachelor of Science in Education: Religion and Social Studies, Tunis 1993. She did training courses in leadership, coaching and organizational development. She was Project leader on a study associations "Integrating and popular education" (2003-2005). She was member of the Municipal Council of Stockholm (2002-2006). She helped establish several organizations in Sweden and in Europe: she was a member of the Forum for Equal Rights / Anti-discrimination office in Kista (2003); she was member of the Swedish Committee against Islamophobia (2006); she was Chairwoman of the Muslim Women's Association (1997-2002). She is a founder member of the European Forum of Muslim Women and she has been a Board member of EFOMW since 2006 until now. She works today as advisers and recruitment consultant. She is married and she has 4 children.
Hela Khomsi, France

She has a bachelor degree in Arabic literature and Arab-Moslim civilization from the University Of Lille III Charles De Gaulle. She is a founder member of the European Forum of Muslim Women and founder and president of AmElle association in Lille. Speaker in French and Arabic, in theology, social debates and women issues, she is also Board Member of the Women Department in FIOE. She teaches Arabic and Islam in France and she has an important commitment in the educational work.

She is a teacher of Arabic and Greek language. She is founder and administrator of weekend schools in Athens for teaching Arabic & Islamic education to children (since 1997). She has been the Director for women section in the Arabhellenic center for culture & civilization in Athens (since 2002). She is founder of the “Holy Quran competition” for children in Athens (2005). She has been Director of daily Arabic school in Athens (since 2006). She gives lectures in Greek language about Islam and the Palestinian issue (since 2000). She is the director of the youth club of the Hellenic society for supporting children. She has been a member in the Immigrants council in the municipality of Athens (since 2010). She has been a Board member of the European Forum of Muslim Woman (since 2006). She is married and she has 2 children.

She has a Master's degree in Contemporary literature from Lille III University. She has made a commitment in the local, the national and the European associative work since 1993 and she chaired several associations. She is a speaker in French, in Arabic and in English on Woman issue. She is the co-author of the Manifesto of the Muslim Woman (LFFM, 2004). She was an active member and a regional delegate of the French League of the Muslim Woman (2006-2008). She was the General Secretary of the European Forum of Muslim Women and was in charge of the Public Relations (2006-2010). She is married and she has 4 children.
Hibah Aburwein, Ireland

She is the women office leader in Muslim Association of Ireland. She has a master's Degree in Comparative Literature and Intercultural Studies. She also completed a bachelor degree in Islamic and Human Studies and another degree in Montessori Education. She is a member of American Montessori Society and has been teaching in many Montessori schools in Ireland. She is very interested in women issues, religious debates, poetry and history. She works voluntarily with ethnic minorities and organised cultural exhibitions in Ireland. She gives lectures in her speciality fields. She is married and she has 3 children
Sumaya Abdel Qader, Italy

She is graduated in biology and she is doing a second degree in foreign languages and cultures (specializing in Arabic language and Islamic culture). She collaborates with many Italian universities and schools giving lectures, lessons and courses on various topics about: Islam, Arabic and Islamic world, European Muslims, immigration, new Italian, multiculturalism, etc ...Active in the field of interreligious dialogue since 1998, in 2004 she met Pope John Paul II. One of the founders of the Italian association GMI (Young Muslims in Italy), she has served as General Secretary and Vice President. She writes as a freelance columnist for several Italian and international newspapers and sites such as Vita, the Sole 24 Ore on Line, www.Islam-online.net, www.Minareti.it, FareFuturo Web Magazine, etc. She is also a columnist on various Italian TV channels. She published in September 2008 her first book, a story about the life of a young Muslim girl born and raised in Italy, for Sonzogno Publisher. Board member of Action Aid -Italy. Founder of Gibraltar Institute for training, studying and research. She is married and she has 2 children.
