Helping Gaza is a duty… letting it down is a crime against humanity
The Israeli war machine is continuing its crime of mass cleansing against Gaza and its unarmed inhabitants after stifling it with a blockade and depriving it of basic necessities for many months.
This military arsenal is used against civilians: it kills women, old people, and even children. Thousands of wounded and hundreds of thousands of homeless people cannot find any shelter after homes, places of worship and even schools have been destroyed.
Israel defies all international laws and conventions and ignores the decisions of the Security Council, which remains unable to compel it to stop this slaughter. The rising numbers of casualties foretell a new human disaster after all the others which that people has to face in its struggle against the coloniser.
The European Forum of Muslim Women insists
- that Palestinians have a right to defend their freedom and resist occupation, a right guaranteed by international conventions
- that international institutions have a duty to denounce this slaughter as a crime against humanity and use all means to bring it to an end
- that no peace can last without justice, freedom and the right to dignity.

- the opening of crossing points with the Gaza strip
- that Israel implement United Nations decisions by Israel, without any condition, or that international sanctions be enforced.

- all NGOs advocating dialogue and peace, and all influential groups worldwide, as well as honest people on all sides, sharing the values of human rights, understanding, peace, justice and freedom, to rally against this human tragedy
the media to fulfil their noble mission and bring to the public objective information about what is really happening in the field.
